I write a little bit of everything: fiction (primarily YA), poetry, personal essays, and a blog. I currently have one YA contemporary ready to query, a YA paranormal in editing stages, and am working on my next novel. Below you can find a list of writing that has already been published.

If you have a writing project that you think would be a good fit, I’d love to discuss it with you!

ESSAYS

Maybe it’s because we don’t anticipate a change. Maybe it’s because we don’t want to see a change in them after all they’ve done. We don’t want to admit that at their core they’re people… just like us. After all, everyone has said or done something that has hurt another person on some level at least once. (But likely more.)

Maybe it’s because we’ve deemed them irredeemable.

Fiction

The teens emerged from the woods and huddled in front of the dark, abandoned cottage, their eyes as round as the full moon overhead. The brilliant light illuminated the sagging stairs, the floor boards rotted away after many years of disrepair.

"Should we go inside?" Meg whispered, barely loud enough for anyone to hear over the chirp of the crickets.
